Top 5 Affordable Maternity Wear & Week 30 Bump Update

I hope you are all having a wonderful summer. I can’t believe I’m writing this, but, I honestly can’t wait for fall this year! Let me tell you that being pregnant in the summer is no fun! I’ve just been home all summer because I get so tired every time I step outside in the sun. Running errands on the weekends have also become tough, and to top it all, Pregnancy Insomnia has hit me hard. I’m happy if I get 6 hours of sleep at night! This is so strange to me, because I’ve been this person who could fall asleep any place, any time. Although, I should say I’m loving all these extra hours that I get to stay up and do some productive work.

Week 30 Bump Update

I’ve been getting a ton of questions about how I’ve been managing pregnancy, so I decided to give you a little insight into my pregnancy till date. I’m now in my third trimester, yay! I’m excited to meet my baby, but at the same time, I’m definitely going to miss my bump. Over these past months, I’ve grown to love my changing body and my growing belly. My favorite pass time is to watch my belly move around in every direction and the baby kicking away to glory! It’s always a good feeling to have an active baby.

How I feel?

As of the end of Week 30, I’ve gained about 30lbs. I’ve heard that most of pregnancy weight loss occurs immediately after the baby is born. Baby is as big as a Zucchini this week.

Third trimester isn’t so bad yet, but the second trimester was the best! These days, I have to watch out again for mood swings and hunger pangs. Every now and then I feel so hungry and have to eat something immediately else I get emotional for no reason. One night I woke up in the middle of the night, hungry and irritated. I’m just not used to waking up at night, I used to be such a sound sleeper before pregnancy! I woke up, and started cooking. The next day, I realized I could have just eaten cereals that night. **things that pregnancy does to you**

Top 5 maternity wear that won't break the bank

As I progress into the third trimester, I’ve realized it’s wise to invest in maternity clothes from the start of your pregnancy. Maternity clothes are the only ones that fit me right now. It’s best to invest in good maternity clothes right at the start of your pregnancy, that way you have something to wear towards the end of third trimester. In my case, I’ve been shopping non-stop for clothes since the very beginning. I’m not complaining, who doesn’t love new clothes? 😉
